Astronomical data. With exception of the two last files (made entirely by me) the data have been just converted by me to a *.dbf format from original sources (given in the documentation) and equipped with some software to handle them. Such a format of the data has been handy for me, and perhaps will be useful to another people as well. Even for UNIX, a *.dbf handling shareware programme exists, called dbman. As for the Borland Turbo Pascal programmes using the data, I know of no possibility to run them in UNIX otherwise than through DOSemu. 38836 Jul 10 14:38 binaries.zip Orbital parameters of binary star systems 974146 Jul 10 14:38 bsc5dbf.zip Bright Star Catalogue, in *.dbf format b5_cd.dbf is used as an input for my map_BSC star chart programme. 742 Jul 10 14:38 mbsc5dbf.bat batch file to unpack the Bright Star Cat. 496347 Jul 10 14:38 gcvsred.zip Part of the General Catalogue of Variable Stars 155098 Jul 10 14:38 otp.zip Tom Lorenzin's 1000+ 3058 Jul 10 14:38 sol_syst.zip orbital parameters of some stony/icy minor planets 445246 Jul 10 14:38 litt_atl.zip Little Star Atlas, a part of Bajecny svet hvezd (a Czech-written book) In more detail: BSC5DBF ZIP The Bright Star Catalogue, 5-th preliminary edition, in the form of dBase files.
