V1494 AQUILAE = NOVA AQUILAE 1999 No. 2

 Alfredo Pereira, Cabo da Roca, Portugalsko, oznamuje svůj vizuální objev novy, kterou objevil v rámci vyhledávacího programu pomocí binokuláru 14x100. Novu objevil 1.785 UT prosince, kdy měla m_v kolem 6.0 mag. D. di Cicco, Sudbury, MA, oznamuje následující přesnou pozici, kterou určil podle CCD snímku (bez filtru). CCD snímek byl exponován kolem 1.95 UT prosince: alpha = 19h23m05s.38, delta = +4 57'20".1 (2000.0; referenční hvězdy z GSC), 5.2 mag. Podle
Digital Sky Survey je na této pozici hvězda na souřadnicích alpha = 19h23m05s.38, delta = +4o 57'19".6 (hv. vel. v červené barvě 15.6 mag, v modré 17.4 mag), stejně jako v USNO A2.0 katalogu.
