This set of files has been prepared by Jan Hollan,
working at the Nicholas Copernicus Observatory and Planetarium in Brno.

The author is a teacher of astronomy at the Faculty of Education
of the Masaryk University in Brno,
and a member of an environmental organization Veronica and of the
Society for Sustainable Living.

There are four kinds of files there:
 - programmes,
 - astronomical data (catalogues used by the programmes, and a star atlas)
 - texts on astronomy (mostly Czech)
 - texts on energy efficiency and global warming (Czech)
 - texts on (good outdoor) lighting and some images as examples,
   including a Czech translation of Good Neighbor Outdoor Lighing brochure
   (GNOL)     
 - database of astronomical institutions in Czechia and Slovakia
