Galileo Image of Jupiter's Great Red Spot

Jupiter's atmosphere in the 756 nm filter of the Galileo imaging system. The image is centered at planetographic latitude -14 and west longitude 319, and is the north center part of a six-frame mosaic of the Great Red Spot. Each pixel subtends a square 35.7 km on a side. North is at the top. The universal time is 4 hours, 19 minutes, 54 seconds on June 26, 1996.
