ASTROMETRY   :   Interplanetary Matter / Comets and Minor Planets

Astrometry of comets and minor planets obtained at the MPC station 048 Hradec Kralove from 2002 to the present (0.40-m f/5 reflector; 15°50'26".88 E, 50°10'38".42 N, 272.76 m) and the MPC station 616 Brno from 2002 to 2007 (0.62-m f/4.5 reflector; 16°35'00".52 E, 49°12'15".89 N, 306 m).

The files with observations include header, summary table and meaurements of precise positions. Header contains object name, code of MPC station, instrument type (diameter, focal ratio, type and specification of the CCD camera), name of observers and catalog code. Summary table contains columns OBJECT - object designation, DATE - evenning date, MPC - code of the MPC station, POS - number of measurements, FLT - used filter, OBS - an abbreviation of observers name and PUBLISHED - list of publications (MPEC, IAUC circulars). The meaurements of precise positions have mostly basic MPC format: object designation, date of observation, coordinates right ascension and declination and code of MPC station.

The astrometric observations have been sent to IAU Minor Planet Center and published in the Minor Planet Circulars (MPC), the Minor Planet Electronic Circulars (MPEC) or the International Astronomical Union Circulars (IAUC).
